NAYI ROSHNI"A film in Garhwali dialect has been produced by Sheetal Jayara Images and Gangotri Films. "Nai Roshni" is an effort to sensitize the public to the issue of Girl Child. This has its origin in the mind set of the majority of Indian society which prefer a son to a daughter. The population in the hills of Uttarakhand also have the same mind set. Nai Roshni is the story of a girl, craving for the affection of her father. The father, consider her unlucky as a son did not born after Roshni's birth. Even after the birth of sons he do not change his attitude and showers his affection on his sons and always neglects Roshni.The fils is also the story of a grandmother who fights for the rights of her grand daughter. Third woman in the story is the mother of Roshni, who silently suffers and dies.Roshni the heroine of the film is from Kotdwar. The suiting is done in and around Kotdwara.     I appreaciate your contribution towards uttrakhand. For me, we should give some efforts to our uttrakhand films as I have gone through with lots of movies such as Chakrachal, teri sau etc. but i feel very regret that we cannot even reach to our each & every people beacuse of lack of Picturization, stories, executing the things and n number of defects that's why our people even not taking an interest towards uk films. As we all know that we are rich in hills, rivers, Scenetic views even then we are not able to create a good movie. i think we should take a right concept from expert and people like me will give our intitiative towards our films. Anyways i have an nice idea for making a good film and i can give assurance that my story & idea will make boom in the uttrakhand industry as per my R&D of uttrankhand films.
